Hulp nodig ! (with English translation!)

Wederom konden we lezen in verschillende media - ja ook in de Nederlandse media - dat de cowboy in het Witte Huis in ‘al zijn wijsheid’ besloten heeft om geen cent meer te betalen aan de VN-hulporganisatie voor Palestijnse vluchtelingen. De Volkskrant wist te melden: “ … De UNRWA is volgens de regering-Trump ‘een onherstelbaar gebrekkige organisatie’, en de VS zullen ‘geen verdere bijdrage meer leveren’, zei woordvoerder Heather Nauert van het Amerikaanse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken … “

Volgens de krant zijn de VS lange tijd de grootste donor van de VN-organisatie geweest en droegen ongeveer eenderde van het jaarlijks budget van bijna 1 miljard euro bij. Dat is nu verdwenen en nu moeten andere landen bijspringen. Duitsland wil haar bijdrage al gaan verhogen.  

Maar schiet de Palestijn in de straat of vluchtelingenkamp er allemaal wat mee op met die hulp? Waar blijft al dat geld?

Als ik op het internet kom, schieten de vragen voor hulp en support me om de oren, en dat is tegenwoordig niet alleen op Facebook, maar ook op VK, LinkedIn, Whatsapp en ga zo maar door. De nood is gigantisch en er wordt geen cent opgelost. De Palestijnen die de hulp het hardst nodig hebben, ontvangen geen rooie cent, geen centime. De wereld is stil en doet geen ene moer om de Palestijnen op wat voor manier dan ook te helpen. Sterker nog: de meeste landen - ook Arabische landen - kijken de andere kant uit of beginnen vriendschapsbanden met de zionistische bezetter van Palestina.  

De Rightsforum organisatie had in haar serie Dossiers op 2 februari 2018 een item besteed aan de Palestijnen en in het artikel op haar site is het volgende te vinden: “ … De Palestijnse vluchtelingen gemeenschap is de grootste ter wereld. Er zijn 5,3 miljoen bij de UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) geregistreerde Palestijnse vluchtelingen, en daarnaast nog een onbekend aantal niet geregistreerde vluchtelingen, op een totale bevolking van bijna 13 miljoen Palestijnen wereldwijd … “

En verder: “ … Zo’n 5,3 miljoen van hen staan geregistreerd bij de UNRWA, de VN-organisatie voor steun aan de Palestijnse vluchtelingen. Ruim 1,5 miljoen van hen leven nog altijd in vluchtelingenkampen – tegenwoordig geen tentenkampen meer, maar overvolle stadswijken met in het gunstigste geval gebrekkige voorzieningen. Eind 2016 telde de UNRWA in haar werkgebied de volgende aantallen vluchtelingen:

• Westelijke Jordaanoever en Oost-Jeruzalem: 810 duizend geregistreerde vluchtelingen, van wie een kwart in 19 kampen leeft;
• Gazastrook: 1,3 miljoen geregistreerde vluchtelingen (circa 70 procent van de bevolking), van wie ruim een half miljoen in acht kampen;
• Libanon: 450 duizend geregistreerde vluchtelingen, van wie 53 procent in twaalf kampen;
• Jordanië: 2,2 miljoen geregistreerde vluchtelingen, van wie 370 duizend in tien kampen;
• Syrië: 527 duizend geregistreerde vluchtelingen voor het begin van de Syrische burgeroorlog. Veel Palestijnse vluchtelingen in Syrië hebben moeten vluchten voor het oorlogsgeweld. Momenteel verleent de UNRWA hulp in tien vluchtelingenkampen in Syrië, en ondersteunt de organisatie Palestijnse vluchtelingen die naar buurlanden van Syrië zijn gevlucht … “

En deze mensen hebben nog steeds, vandaag de dag, allemaal hulp nodig, en zeg nu zelf, dat er Palestijnen moeten leven in vluchtelingenkampen in hun eigen land in deze tijd, 2018. Krijgt u dat aan iemand uitgelegd, probeer het eens aan uw buurman en kijk wat die zal zeggen.

Maar ik ben zo bang dat al het geld helemaal niet bij de doorsnee Palestijn terecht komt; zoals vaak wel bij ‘corrupte’ politici en verdwijnt het geld in de eigen zak, zeg om een vliegtuig te kopen - dat overigens niet in Palestina kan of mag landen - of om het eigen paleis een opknapbeurt te geven voor een paar miljoen. Neen, een groot gedeelte van het gedoneerde geld komt niet verder dan Ramallah. Nu zou de UNRWA wel de Palestijn in de straat kunnen helpen, maar juist in de geldstroom voor deze organisatie wordt het Trump-mes gezet.

Daarom worden de Palestijnen wanhopig en komen steeds meer van hen op de verschillende social media en zijn op zoek naar een supporter; ik kom ze aan de lopende band tegen.

Maar hoe kunnen we deze mensen, deze arme Palestijnen, nu echt helpen?

Wat in eerste instantie nodig is, is een organisatie in Palestina met betrouwbare mensen, die de hulpvragers kunnen registreren samen met de hulpbehoefte. Deze hulpbehoefte kan uit verschillende dingen bestaan, zoals geld, kleding, voeding, medische zorg, hulp bij het onderwijs van de kinderen.

Daarnaast is het van belang dat de support duurzaam gegeven gaat worden. In eerste instantie moet er een hoop geld worden vrijgemaakt - op wat voor manier dan ook - waarmee de eerste behoeften opgelost kunnen worden. Daarnaast zal de organisatie een plan moeten opzetten voor support op de weg naar een baan - op wat voor manier dan ook. Dit alles zal moeten gebeuren in samenspraak met lokale leiders en lokale mensen, zonder dat daarbij de regering in Ramallah enige aanspraak kan maken op het geld en goederen; niets eens te spreken over de zionistische regering uit Tel Aviv en haar soldaten die overal zaken stelen, land confisqueren, Palestijnen zonder enige vorm van proces oppakken en anderen weer vermoorden.

Zo’n organisatie is NU nodig en niet morgen, ik ben benieuwd of er reacties komen om dit (mee te helpen) op te zetten.

Broeders en zusters in de Islam, de Palestijnen hebben uw support nodig; nu om ook een waardige toekomst op te kunnen bouwen. Op een site staat: “ …. Allah de Almachtige moedigt  zijn gelovige dienaren om hun eigendommen omwille van Hem سبحانه وتعالى uit te geven, en beloofde hen voor hun sadaqah (liefdadigheid) een grote beloning. Allaah سبحانه وتعالى zegt in de Qur’an (vertaling):

”De gelijkenis van degenen die hun eigendommen op de Weg van Allah uitgeven is als de gelijkenis van een graankorrel, (die) zeven aren voortbrengt, in iedere aar honderd korrels, en Allaah vermenigvuldigt voor wie Hij wil. En Allah is Alomvattend, Alwetend.”  (Soerah al-Baqarah 261) … “

Need help !

Again we could read in various media - yes also in the Dutch media - that the cowboy in the White House decided in 'all his wisdom' to pay no more money to the UN aid organization for Palestinian refugees. De Volkskrant reported: "... According to the Trump government," UNRWA is an irreparably inadequate organization, "and the US will" no longer contribute, "said Heather Nauert, spokesman for the US Department of State … "

According to the newspaper, the US has been long time the largest donor to the UN organization and contributed about one third of the annual budget of nearly 1 billion euros. That has now disappeared and now other countries have to help. Germany already wants to increase its contribution.

But does the Palestinian in the street or refugee camp all get along with that help? Where is all that money?
When I come to the internet, the questions for help and support come to my head, and that is not just on Facebook, but also on VK, LinkedIn, Whatsapp and so on. The need is huge and not a penny is solved. The Palestinians who need the help most do not receive a dime, not a centime. The world is quiet and does not do one thing to help the Palestinians in any way. In fact, most countries - including Arab countries - look the other way or start friendship with the Zionist occupier of Palestine.

In its series Dossiers on 2 February 2018, the Rightsforum organization had an item on the Palestinians and in the article on its site you can find the following: "... The Palestinian refugee community is the largest in the world. There are 5.3 million Palestinian refugees registered with the UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), as well as an unknown number of unregistered refugees, out of a total population of almost 13 million Palestinians worldwide ... "

And furthermore: "... Some 5.3 million of them are registered with UNRWA, the UN organization for support to Palestinian refugees. Over 1.5 million of them still live in refugee camps - nowadays no more tent camps, but overcrowded urban neighborhoods with, at best, poor facilities. And these people still need help today, and now say for themselves that Palestinians must live in refugee camps in their own country during this time, 2018. If you get that explained to someone, give it to your neighbor. and see what that will say.

But I am so afraid that all the money does not end up at all with the average Palestinian; as is often the case with 'corrupt' politicians and the money disappears into their own pockets, say to buy a plane - which, incidentally, can not or may not land in Palestine - or to give the palace a refurbishment for a few million. No, a large part of the donated money does not go beyond Ramallah. Now UNRWA could help the Palestinian in the street, but the money flow for this organization is cut off by the Trump knife.

That is why the Palestinians are desperate and more and more of them are on the various social media and are looking for a supporter; I meet them on daily bases

But how can we really help these people, these poor Palestinians?

What is needed at this moment is an organization in Palestine with reliable people who can register the people requesting assistance together with the need for help. This need for help can consist of various things, such as money, clothing, food, medical care, help with the education of the children.

In addition, it is important that the support is given sustainably. In the first instance, a lot of money has to be brought together - in whatever way - to solve the first needs. In addition, the organization will have to set up a plan for support on the road to a job - in whatever way. All this will have to be done in consultation with local leaders and local people, without the government in Ramallah being able to make any claim on the money and goods; nothing to say about the Zionist government from Tel Aviv and its soldiers who steal business everywhere, confiscate land, take Palestinians without any form of trial and kill others again.

Such an organization is NOW needed and not tomorrow, I am curious if there are reactions to this (help) to start the support.
